Random thoughts on Sarah and Pedro's wedding:

  • Wow, Sarah looked beautiful in her temple clothes and in her wedding dress. And Pedro was equally handsome.
  • It's so nice that they are worthy to go to the temple.
  • And what a blessing to have all of our married kids in the temple, with their spouses -- some under difficult circumstances!
  • Mom and I really enjoyed having Deocles and Evelina in our home for a couple weeks. Great people...wonderful new friends.
  • Fun to hear the ceremony in English and Portuguese. I love hearing those words and trying to comprehend the blessings there for us.
  • A blessing to see Deocles and Evelina so happy together...and to see Pedro treat Sarah like a queen...following his dad's example.
  • I'm so grateful for the closeness and help and talents you all provided...in your own ways! We love you all and are so proud of you.
  • I was fine seeing them off at the airport...no tears. But when she called from Brazil to announce their safe arrival, I was a blubbering mess. :(
  • Mom is the most awesome Mom on the planet. She made the day beautiful and classy on a meager budget. She is truly a magician! I know you all appreciate her. She's amazing.
  • The luncheon and the reception were both a lot of fun. Thanks for being a part of them.
  • One more time...It's so neat to see the talents you are all blessed with.
  • This wedding brought back wonderful memories of five others. So sweet for parents!
  • I'll have a few more later...and some pictures.

I love you all and look forward to when you all have time to post up on your blogs!

Thanks, Amy and Alex, for a fun New Year's Eve holiday!!! Great food, great fun, great company! We had a great time playing and talking and eating with you all. Thanks to all who were able to make it (Jamie and Holly and kids - including Jame, Dan and Kat, Mom, Dad, Sarah, Pedro, and Hannah, Aunt Jody!)...we had a blast. Sorry the rest of you were so responsible you couldn't make it. I enjoyed eating your share of the great food!!!

We love you all and can't wait for the next opportunity to get together.

BTW, Dan was the man on the rabbit hunt!
