New Year Celebration with Miles and Co.

We all had a blast celebrating New Year's Eve.

Then on New Year's Day we went bowling,

then to the Ice Castles at Zermatt. We had some

great talks and laughs and took some good pics.

Cool! I've been blogging for a year. Not great at it, but I have preserved some memories that will be precious one day.

Hunting, Gathering, and Feasting

We had a great meal tonight. Dove breasts, cheese, and peppers wrapped in bacon and skewered with fresh sweet onions. All but the bacon and the cheese were either hunted or gathered! I love this time of year -- I love to hunt, I love to garden, I love to cook, and oh yeah, I love to eat!

Hey, y'all, check out pics from Nauvoo on Facebook. Since I haven't really figured out how to post a good photo essay on this blog, I used facebook. I'd still like to be able to post a narrative with pics placed appropriately in the text...but that's still a mystery to me. It should be much easier...more intuitive.
