A Grateful Day

Friday's post thanksgiving Pho dinner with all the gang was such a blast! The noise was boisterous, confusion reigned, laughter was contagious, the aroma was delicious, the food was awesome...and our joy was full. We just loved it all. The kids had a blast and the adults did too. Thanks so much, everyone, for making our day. For Mom and me it was HEAVEN! We love you all so much and we're so proud of you all. In spite of us, you all have grown up to be the kind of people we love to be around: Loving, caring, thoughtful, responsible, hardworking, wonderful people. How proud and grateful we are!

Here are a few pics. Hannah has more (and more varied) and will probably post them on Facebook. This is just a sampling...we were more concerned with cooking and talking than taking pics...so if we left you out, feel fortunate!

Debby Does Pelican Lake!!

So, after 30 years of fishing Pelican with the boys, Debby decided she wanted to go with me! Wow! Go we did. We camped and we fished and we had a blast. Man, I love this place. And it's even more fun with Debby.

We had hot dogs with Isabel and Jamie at Bridal Veil Falls!

Jamie towed Isabel up the canyon from Utah Lake. Deb and I met them and we roasted tube steaks together. Fun time! Thanks for the spontaneous invitation, Jamie! Isabel is such a sweetheart...great hugs!

Hannah Graduates from Seminary

Mom and I went up to Laketown last night and enjoyed a delicious taco supper with the Lamborns. Then we traveled to Paris Idaho to attend Hannah's seminary graduation in the beautiful Paris Tabernacle. Hannah was radiant and the program was wonderful. What a great bunch of kids...especially one of them!!
