Mom and I made the inevitable transtion this year from Christmas parents who do Christmas with the kids at our house, to Christmas Grandparents who travel to visit kids and grandkids on Christmas Day. We started at Laketown on Christmas Eve. We had a nice dinner and stayed the night. We got up in the morning and had a blast watching the kids do a Christmas treasure hunt, ending in the hay stack with a cool new 4-wheeler. Then we ate breakfast and headed to Ogden, where we enjoyed visiting with Em, Pete, and the kids. Great fun, great excitement, yummy lunch. Then off to Herriman to spend the afternoon with Holly, Jamie, and the kids. Enjoyed seeing their Christmas, a nice visit, and a fine dinner. Then we headed down to Orem to visit Andy, Janna, and Miles. We had a nice visit with them and Janna's family. Miles wasn't feeling too great, but he was still fun. We intended to visit with Dan and Kat but were never able to find them or connect on the phone, so we visited later in the week with them. Here is a pictorial record of the travels. Love you all!!! Looks like you guys had a great time! I wish we could have come on the tour or been a stop on it. :)We love you and miss you!
It was a great voyage you went on. Lots of butt in the seat time, but we sure appreciate you going the (literal) extra mile. Love your guts!
